Spring Beauty Trends: Smokey Eye

Wearing brown smokey eyes is one of Spring's biggest trends.  Try this softer look for any occasion.  March 2012's People Style Watch tells us how to do this perfectly!

• Layer shades: Rim eyes with a chocolate-colored liner. Then sweep shimmery shadows from lashlines to brow bones, going from dark brown to bronze to tan.
• Blend well: Use a cotton swab to blur any harsh edges, says Maybelline make up artist Charlotte Willer.
• Finish with Mascara: Add drama with two coats of black on top and bottom lashes.
